AUTO-TUNE is an operatic song cycle performed by a man in a wolf mask. It is a theatre work that explores the value of mistakes in a contemporary digital era defined by algorithmic perfection. The narrative enacts a story of strange superpowers, strained friendships and young death in regional Australian communities.

As a theatre show, AUTO-TUNE takes the form of a live music gig. The performance of the work will be part concert, part monologue and part live video-clip

Intimate Spectacle presented an excerpt of an early draft of AUTO-TUNE performed by Mark Rogers at Out of Iso Again!, in late 2021.
